Manager, Guilds & Special Events
Responsible for directing, planning, managing and executing all aspects of UCP-OC signature events including Life Without Limits Gala, “Autumn Classic” Golf Tournament and OC Marathon.
Collaborate with fund development team and UCP-OC leadership on donor strategies, cultivation and stewardship events and overall engagement of donors and volunteers.
Organize, lead and manage volunteer committees associated with signature events.
Serve as primary liaison and coordinator for all outside/third party fundraising efforts and two support guilds; “Psi Delta Sigma” and “Sea and Sky Guild”.

Grant Writer
Responsible for all federal, state, county, city and private grant proposals, inclusive of research, grant development, proposal writing and information coordination.

Childcare & Respite Services:
INCLUSION FACILITATOR: Brief Job Summary: Provides care and support to children with special needs at an inclusive childcare environment. Duties include implementing inclusion strategies; promoting appropriate interaction with typical children; assisting with dressing and toileting with the ultimate goal of fostering independence. Other responsibilities may vary. Requirements: High school
diploma or GED required; 1 to 2 years experience working with people with disabilities or equivalent related life experience; must be at least 18 years of age.
RESPITE WORK: Brief Job Summary: Provides care and supervision to children with special needs. Duties include, but may not be limited to, bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding, meal preparation, light housekeeping and medication administration. Other responsibilities may vary. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; 1 to 2 year's experience working with people with disabilities or equivalent related life experience; must be at least 18 years of age; must be available to work a Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday assignment twice a month.
Therapy Services:
THERAPISTS – Speech, Physical & Occupational Therapists (Full & Part-time, Afternoons): Brief Job Summary: Seeking experienced, progressive, pediatric Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapists to provide center and community-based therapy services, to a diverse population of individuals, from birth to 21 years, who are served from medical, educational and developmental models. Requirements: BS degree in specialized therapy (Master’s degree preferred); Licensed by California Board (state license required); Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with developmental disabilities; Verifiable experience developing and implementing individual therapy treatment in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team; Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable.
