Allergan Foundation

The Allergan Foundation, created in 1998, is committed to providing a lasting and positive impact on the community. Since inception, The Allergan Foundation has made grants of nearly $12 million, focusing support in four philanthropic areas: the arts, civic programs, education, and health and human services.

An infusion of $28.5 million in 2006 placed The Allergan Foundation among the largest philanthropic organizations in Orange County.  Their contributions to a wide spectrum of non-profit organizations help them make a huge impact in our society.

UCP-OC has had a long standing relationship with Allergan.  In addition to financial support, Allergan has maintained an active presence on UCP-OC’s Board of Directors with the late Francis Tunney, Douglas Ingram, Gary Charbonneau and, most recently, Thomas Quinn.

At the 2008 Life Without Limits Gala, UCP-OC  presented  Allergan Inc. employee Douglas Ingram with the Francis Tunney Legacy Award.  This award honors the individual or company that has demonstrated sustained and consistent philanthropic support of UCP-OC and/or has otherwise significantly aided UCP-OC in achieving its mission and goals.

In addition to UCP-OC, the Allergan Foundation does an outstanding jobpartnering with other charitable organizations that are improving the lives of people in our communities and around the world.  UCP-OC wants to thank the Allergan Foundation, Allergan Inc. and their employees for their unwavering support over the years!
